Refund and cancellation policy
Deposit, cancellation, rescheduling, and refund rules for Netdatasolutions audit engagements.
Scope
This policy applies to education budget compliance audits, grant utilisation reviews, year-end school accounts examinations, and pre-inspection readiness checks booked with Netdatasolutions. It does not cover products, subscriptions, or goods we do not sell.
Booking deposit
A 30% deposit confirms your fieldwork window. The deposit is credited toward the engagement fee stated in the engagement letter.
Full refund eligibility
You may receive a full refund of the deposit if you cancel in writing more than 14 days before the agreed start date and no substantive fieldwork or document testing has begun.
Partial refund
Cancellations between 7 and 14 days before the start date receive a 50% refund of the deposit. If planning calls and document intake have already consumed significant time, we may deduct documented hours at the day rate in the engagement letter before calculating the refund.
Non-refundable items
- Deposits for cancellations within 7 days of the start date
- Fees for work already performed (planning, testing, draft reporting)
- Third-party costs expressly approved by you (for example courier of sealed papers)
- Completed final reports once delivered
Rescheduling
You may reschedule once without charge if you give at least 7 days’ notice and a new window within 60 days is agreed. Later or repeated reschedules may incur a rescheduling fee of up to 10% of the engagement fee.
No-shows
If school contacts are unavailable on agreed fieldwork days without 48 hours’ notice, that day may be charged and the engagement timeline extended.
Work already started
Once sampling or substantive testing has started, fees for completed stages remain payable. Unused later stages may be cancelled with a partial credit agreed in writing.
Refund process and timing
Email refund requests to info@netdatasolutions.digital with the engagement reference and reason. Approved refunds are processed within 14 working days to the original payment method where possible.
