Data we collect
- Contact form fields: name, email, engagement type, school or institution name, financial year, and message
- Technical logs such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited when analytics cookies are accepted
- Engagement records needed to deliver an education budget compliance audit once you become a client
We do not ask for identity card numbers, bank passwords, or student personal data through the public contact form.
Purposes
We use personal data to respond to enquiries, prepare engagement letters, deliver audit work, meet legal record-keeping duties, and — only with consent — improve site performance via analytics.
Legal bases
Under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486), we process data for the purposes stated at collection, with your consent where required, and where processing is necessary for a contract or a legal obligation.
Retention
Enquiry messages that do not become engagements are kept for up to 24 months. Signed engagement files and working papers are retained for at least seven years, or longer if a legal hold applies. Analytics data follows the cookie durations listed on our cookies page.
Sharing
We share data with IT and email providers that host our systems under confidentiality terms, and with professional advisers when required. We do not sell personal data. If a transfer outside Hong Kong is needed, we take steps to protect the data in line with Cap. 486.
Your rights
You may request access to or correction of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent for optional processing such as analytics. Contact info@netdatasolutions.digital. You may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data, Hong Kong.
Security
We apply access controls and encrypted transmission for form submissions and client file exchange. No method of transmission is perfectly secure; please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive data by email.
Children
This site is intended for school administrators and adult professionals, not for children.
