How we work

Engagement process

How a Netdatasolutions education budget compliance audit moves from first call to signed report.

An education budget compliance audit is not a surprise inspection. We work beside finance officers, principals, and IMC secretaries so that every sampling step and exception is understood before the final report is issued.

Engagements cover aided schools, DSS schools, kindergartens under subsidy schemes, and tertiary units that administer restricted education funds. Work can be done on campus in Hong Kong or from our Kwun Tong office when ledgers and approvals are already organised.

If you need only a narrower grant check or a pre-inspection readiness review, see our engagement list and choose the scope that matches your timetable.

1

Scope call

We confirm school type, grant streams, the financial year under review, and whether the board or IMC needs a formal report for submission.

2

Document intake

Approved budgets, ledger extracts, bank reconciliations, virement approvals, and grant circular references arrive through a secure file list we provide.

3

Field and desk testing

Auditors sample transactions, match postings to budget heads, and test utilisation against Education Bureau and internal rules.

4

Findings workshop

Finance staff see draft exceptions before the report closes, so factual corrections can be made without delaying the board pack.

5

Final report

You receive compliance conclusions, risk grades, and remediation notes suitable for supervisors, IMC members, or external inspectors.
